COVID UPDATE

COVID UPDATE MAY 25, 2023

We are happy to report that the Home is no longer in “outbreak status” for COVID-19. As we move forward, following guidance from health officials, we continue with efforts to keep the virus out of the Home.

If you wish to visit, our front desk staff will welcome you via the front door and assist you in registering by using the electronic kiosk to screen in. As in the past, we are asking all unvaccinated visitors or visitors who do not wish to disclose vaccination status to remain in the lobby and visit in designated areas to avoid mingling with staff and residents as much as possible. For everyone’s safety, children under two or unvaccinated persons who cannot wear a mask should refrain from visiting. Due to the need for social distancing, we ask that only two visitors visit at a time. If you would like to visit with a party larger than two, it is recommended that you call a member of our Social Services staff to reserve a larger space.

DC Health requires that masks be worn at all times while in the Home. If you are feeling unwell in any way, had a recent exposure to someone with COVID-19, or have had a positive test result for COVID-19, please refrain from visiting the Home.

If you have any further concerns or questions you may call our Social Services staff at 202-966-6667 and continue to monitor the website updates.
