The Home is licensed by the District of Columbia as a community residential facility as well as a licensed nursing facility. Further, the Home's nursing facility is certified by the federal government as a provider of both Medicare and Medicaid services.

The Home is in compliance with Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.
